Madhvan & Nana Patekar in ‘Merry Go Rround’

Sounds weird na? But yes, the two versatile actors - R Madhvan and Nana Patekar - are going to come together for a project that is indeed titled ‘Merry Go Round’.

The film will be helmed by Shivam Nair (of ‘Ahistha Ahistha’ fame) and produced by Vishwaas Paandya (producer of English film ‘American Blende’, starring Anupam Kher)

‘Merry Go Round’ is said to be a thriller and the script demanded two contrasting personalities for the main roles. And so the producer thought Madhavan and Nana to be best for the roles. “….one very sweet and innocent and the other someone who looks in total control. What better than R Madhvan and Nana?, remarked Paandya. He further said that they are yet to decide an actress to play Madhavan’s wife while there is no female lead for Nana in the film.

‘Merry Go Round’ is expected to go floors in May 2011.
